The 18th Energetika & Elektrotechnika
international specialised exhibition finished its work this year on May 20 in St. Petersburg
Today Energetika & Elektrotechnika is one of the most interesting and representative industrial exhibitions in Russia and Eastern Europe, a meeting place for the world leaders of energy industry, suppliers of products and services for thermal and hydraulic power plants, heat supply systems and other energy supply systems.
In 2011, representatives of 320 companies from Russia and 10 foreign countries – Belarus, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland and Czech Republic have come to take part in the exhibition. Leading manufacturers and suppliers of electric equipment and machinery have exhibited their developments and researches in the field of energy industries, energy saving technology and power engineering. The exhibition focused this year on the current technology in the industry and alternative energy resources.
Our exhibitors’ stands demonstrated equipment and technology of world-known manufacturers: ABB, Autonics, Balluff, Deutschmann Automation, Finder, Eaton (Moeller), Lambda, Mean Well, Omron, SoftLink, Vacon, Vertesz Electronika, Weidmueller, etc..
Traditionally, the exhibition featured national expositions – German companies (organised by German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology), Polish companies (organised by Trade and Investment Facilitation Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Moscow), Czech companies (organised by Czech Trade International s.r.o. of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic) and Finnish companies.
This year we have presented a rich and interesting exposition along with a comprehensive business program full of business meetings, presentations, conferences and workshops dedicated to the wide range of issues – from the post-crisis period effects on the energy industry to staff problems solving.
A most timely character had the conference held for the first time on Heat and power energy production via bio fuel: bio fuel production, application in Russian and world wide organised by Infobio Information and Analytical Agency and the International Bio Energy Industry magazine with the support of the National Bioenergy Union non-profit organisation, where the issues of bio fuel application in the energy industry and investment opportunities in the industry development were considered.
Special attention was given to the round table meeting Practice of Energy Inspections organised with the support of the National Union of Energy Inspectors non-profit organisation. The round-table was taken part by representatives of St. Petersburg Committee of Energy Industries and Engineering, heads of self-regulated energy saving and energy efficiency development companies, AVOK North-West non-profit company, and chief executives of building, engineering and managing companies.
Exhibitors were much interested in the 2nd international workshop Diagnostics of power supply cables of medium and high voltage organised with the support of IDGC Holding. Among its participants there were – designers of power supply cables diagnostics from Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, specialists of Russian enterprises working with the diagnostic systems operation, as well as representatives of institutes and organizations that determine the technical policy in the Russian energy industry.
The exhibition business program also included the conference The Strategy of Sustainable Development and Improvement of Reliability and Power Supply of Power Supply Companies, workshops Modern Solutions of Efficiency Improvement and Network Facilities Improvement; Design, Mounting and Maintenance of Power Supply Cables Made of Cross-Linked Polyethylene; Low Voltage Equipment for Housing and Civil Sector.
All the exhibitors, participants and visitors noticed both professional level of the events organization and the high position level of our visitors. During four days of the exhibition it has been visited by over 9,400 specialists.
The exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg Government, Leningrad region Government, Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Legislative Assembly of Leningrad region, Association of Economic Cooperation of the Subjects of Russian North-West, Regional Office of the Federal Energy Agency of the North-Western Federal District of the Russian Federation, Union of Power Engineers of the Russian North-West, Gas Club, AVOK North-West.
